Innovating Weightloss


Nutrimost® is a comprehensive weight loss program that utilizes computer technology, personal coaching, natural nutritional products, and supplements to help patients reach their weight loss goals. 

Founded in 2007, the company began selling franchises to local business owners, like chiropractors, acupuncturists, and functional medicine specialists, across the United States in 2014. In 2016, the program became available for purchase through several licensees.

The weight loss industry is extremely competitive and regulated. Bad actors exaggerate costs and results to attract customers from competitors and end up attracting local, state and federal officials, like the Federal Trade Commission. The FTC has investigated, sued, and stopped many companies that made false weight loss claims in their ads.

NutriMost® franchisees were required to follow corporate branding and guidelines on marketing communications in order to maintain brand identity and avoid fines. If franchisees maintain their branding, NutriMost brand doesn’t grow. If any franchisees make false claims, the company would receive fines and be subject to investigation.

NutriMost introduced Market Ready Index® as a featured speaker at their national franchise meeting to introduce the MRI® program. 28 franchisees from across the United States engaged with an MRI® Assessment. 75% of those investing in assessments saw value in the data and invested in additional Consulting services.

MRI® Certified Analysts objectively evaluated the samples based on their expertise, established best practices, and NutriMost brand guidelines. MRI® was also able to identify the best performers across all channels to produce an updated Guide to Best Practices for new franchisees, reducing their investments and time to profitability.
